Welcome to planDisney! Bringing little Mouseketeers to Walt Disney World Resort is the best. I have done vacations with Mouseketeers from 5 months to 4 years old, so I have quite a bit of experience, and I would be happy to share any tips to make your travel easier.
Traveling to Orlando can be a challenge, especially with all of the added luggage from little ones, but some options can make it easier. The best way to travel to Walt Disney World Resort is via bus, rideshare, or rental car. Which one you choose depends entirely on whether or not you want to bring your children's car seats with you. If you do not want to bring your children's car seats, I recommend traveling using either Mears Connect or Sunshine Flyer. Both services can transport you to your
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel and do not require younger Guests to ride in car seats. It really is ideal, especially if you plan to utilize the
complimentary transportation around the resort for your entire trip. Now, if you prefer to bring your children's car seats, I recommend either renting a car or using a rideshare service. Out of those two options, I typically choose the rental car option. I don't know about your little one, but mine is not the biggest fan of lines. With our rental car, we can avoid crowds using complimentary transportation during peak times. If you like this option, it is super easy to pick up a car at Orlando International, and it is only a short 30-minute drive to Walt Disney World.
