Hi there, Jessica!
Ahoy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you stopped by with your question about your upcoming
Very Merrytime voyage with Captain Mickey! You are going to have the best time and make some really joyous memories during your time at sea!
The timing of your voyage is PERFECT because all the added holiday décor and onboard festivities will really get you in the holiday spirit! I am so glad you asked about the onboard gingerbread house activity because when my family went on our own Very Merrytime voyage a few years ago we totally missed that opportunity. I so wish we would have been able to secure a ticket because like you, I know my Mouseketeers would have loved it but this mama wasn't even aware of the activity. I am thankful that my boys were young enough to not know what they were missing out on! Tickets are complimentary for Guests, but you must sign up once onboard as it cannot be pre-reserved. Since it’s a very popular activity, I would recommend making it a top priority to visit
Guest Services on embarkation day (the sooner, the better!) to secure your spots! Anytime we have an activity in mind that requires making reservations once onboard we always try to head directly to Guest Services to make those requests before exploring the ship.
Since I know you are trying to secure all your “
Onboard Fun” before setting sail, I do recommend taking advantage of the onboard Youth Clubs for your littles and making a date night reservation at one of the
adult-exclusive restaurants! We have found that if we make our reservation for 7:30PM or later we can still take our boys to the main dining room for dinner AND have a date night!
Wishing you the most magical of adventures with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
