Hello Vanessa!
It's fantastic seeing another DREAM-y question from you! Your
Halloween on the High Seas adventure to paradise will be the perfect way to spend Halloween. We brought my son, who also happens to roll his way throughout the ship in a wheelchair, on a spooktacular cruise this past October and had a blast! Even though your son is a young adult, I encourage him to go trick-or-treating on deck during Mickey's Mouse-querade Party!
I'm so excited that you and your son are planning an adventure to Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island! I just spoke with
Disney Cruise Line's Special Services Team and confirmed that there is a wheelchair-accessible van that travels between the port and Atlantis Resort! The Special Services Team member said once your advance booking window opens, book a Port Adventure for you and your son to Atlantis. Since you're not going to take part in the water activities, I recommend taking a look at the
Discover Atlantis Tour! Then, once that is booked, call the Special Services Team at (407) 566-3602. They will send a request to the Port Adventures Team for a wheelchair-accessible van for you and your son! I do want to mention that the van is non-refundable and will need to be paid for in advance. Once the accessible van is reserved for you and your pirate, the Special Services Team will give you a call to accept payment.
Vanessa, I hope I was able to help you during the planning process for your upcoming Disney Cruise! If you can think of any other questions before October, please don't hesitate to sail back and visit us again!
