Ahoy there! Is it possible to book more than one Port Adventure on the same day? After reviewing options for my upcoming Alaska cruise, I was wondering if there is enough time to join anything else after, let's say, a local breakfast (SW63). TIA!

    Hi, Krzysztof!

Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your Alaskan cruise question. I am excited for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the wildlife, and the exciting ports of call. The crew onboard will take great care of you if it gets chilly with extra blankets up on deck so you can be outside as you sail past a glacier or are watching for any sea pals. Always be on the lookout as I was lucky enough to see whales swimming alongside our ship one evening. Now that was a magical experience I will not forget!

If time allows, you are able to book two excursions in one day. If an activity overlaps, it will not allow you to book. However, I really would focus on one per day. If there is any hold up in your first port adventure, you do not want to be stressed about getting back to the ship to meet with your group for the second planned adventure. I would book your first-choice Port Adventure then stop by the Port Adventures Desk once onboard to chat with them to see if they suggest another that might work with your schedule.

Since you specifically asked about Skagway, I think your Klondike Campfire Breakfast plan is a good one! Upon returning from the breakfast (it looks like this is just a few hours long) you will have time to explore this cute little town. It is just a quick walk to get to a quaint little area with shops, restaurants, and some great photo opportunities. My family really enjoyed this relaxing afternoon just strolling through the area, getting some snacks, and picking up a few fun souvenirs.

While there is so much to see and do in Alaska, do not forget you are on vacation so take time to rest, relax, and just take it all in! Check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for onboard activities as well since you will always find something fun happening both during sea and port days.

Your cruise is getting close so hopefully you have started planning on what to pack. The weather can be unpredictable, so pack rain gear, hiking boots or shoes, and layers that you can take on and off as the day goes by. You will even want to pack your swimsuits; In July you might have a perfect afternoon to enjoy the pools or hot tubs. You may want to have a backpack to take with you if you head out on a hike or other adventure.

Wishing you a magical sailing as you explore Alaska. This will be an amazing experience! Stop back if you have any other questions before you set sail. Bon Voyage!
