Ahoy there, Tatiana!
Gawrsh...we are so glad to welcome you back aboard planDisney! Having a birthday at sea is positively "SEAsational"! I love all the extra attention that the crew doles out to Guests celebrating birthdays. Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button from
Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) that can be worn the entire vacation.
The birthday surprises keep coming because YES, you absolutely can purchase
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation as a one way transfer. So that means if you only need Captain Mickey to drive you from the port to the airport, then that is totally doable.
Based on your cruise date, I’m not sure if you are on the Disney Dream or the Disney Magic because they both set sail on December 6th. So let me just give you information on both. On those dates, the Disney Dream returns to Port Canaveral, and the most recent rate for a one way transfer was $39. As for the Disney Magic, it returns to its port in Miami, and that transportation would cost $ 21 per person one way. As always, prices are subject to change. I highly recommend that you
call Disney Cruise Line to add ground transfers in advance since there are only a limited number available for purchase upon arrival.
Since it sounds like you may be celebrating a birthday on your Disney cruise, I recommend using the
Onboard Gifts link to pre-order gifts, celebratory cakes, or birthday decorations for your stateroom. This is just one extra way to make the pixie dust fly! The “Birthday Wishes Stateroom Decor” package or a Mickey shaped cake or cupcake would totally add the wow factor to any birthday surprise.
Even though you may be new to cruising, the team at planDisney is here to help you every step of the way! So please cruise back by with more planning questions as you count down the days until you set sail.
SEA ya real soon!
