Ahoy Donna!
Welcome back onboard planDisney! Like you, I have visions of Disney cruises dancing in my head right now. "Yo ho, yo ho a pirate’s life for me"...especially when it comes to the
Pirate Night buffet. I can SEA why you are hopeful that this will still be one of the scheduled events onboard when all of us can become pirates again and set sail on the high seas.
Although Captain Mickey has not set forth the new pirate code to follow when cruising resumes, I’ll bet that he and his amazing crew are working hard making everything shipshape. Soon he will be able to say, “Bring me that horizon!”
My best GUESS is that Disney Cruise Line will possibly make
Cabanas more cafeteria-style with attendants plating and serving food or it may be modified into a menu-only restaurant. To know for certain, keep a weather eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updated information.
One thing I am confident about: Disney Cruise Line is dedicated to the
health and safety of Guests and crew. When the Jolly Roger is raised, we can still expect the high caliber of
activities and
entertainment that’s the hallmark of Disney cruising. Just be prepared for some modifications and you will be just fine.
So I say that you should absolutely keep that Disney cruise on your Christmas wish list; it’s definitely a "one size fits all" kind of present! Donna, chart a course back to planDisney with more great questions.
SEA ya real soon!
