Ahoy Claudia!
It's wonderful welcoming you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you're not only planning for your upcoming
Disney Cruise Line cruise but for a future Disney Cruise, too! My family rarely concludes our cruises without booking a future voyage. If we don't know the exact dates of when we want to sail or haven't decided on an itinerary, we book a placeholder cruise! Booking a placeholder cruise is a great way to receive the current onboard booking discounts being offered for when we do decide on a specific Disney Cruise.
Claudia, it is my understanding that during your upcoming voyage you'll be able to book one placeholder cruise per stateroom. However, you are able to reserve two staterooms for that one future placeholder cruise so long as one of the original booking adults is on the reservation. I also wanted to mention that you will need to know the names and ages of each of the Guests who will be traveling with you on your future cruise when you book your placeholder and your cruise must be taken within 24 months of the date you booked it while onboard. I absolutely suggest that you visit the Disney Vacation Planning Center while onboard and ask the Disney Cruise Line representative this question as well. They will also be able to tell you what the current onboard booking discounts are! If you can, visit the Disney Vacation Planning Center early on in your voyage. In my experience, the lines are much longer the closer it gets to debarkation day.
I was so happy to assist you with this question! Please have safe travels and make sure to give Captain Mickey a hug for me!
