Welcome to planDisney Christopher!
I am super excited to hear you have a cruise to Mexico booked. There are some amazing itineraries available for 2023! You were smart for booking yours early as many of these ships are going to be fully booked before we know it.
When onboard, take advantage of the
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Booking Offer. This "Placeholder" will require a $250 deposit. When you get home, you can leisurely
call a Disney Cruise Line Agent with your Placeholder Reservation number (which will be emailed to you) and book your magical Alaskan cruise (as soon as those itineraries are posted). With your Placeholder, you will receive a 10% discount on posted cruise fares. On an Alaskan cruise, this can be a huge savings! The best part is that your Placeholder can be reserved on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so it is quick and easy. (Your $250 will be credited toward your cruise deposit.)
If you do not use your Placeholder within 24 months, the $250 will be refunded to you. Please note
terms and conditions as well as blockout dates.
I always sign up for the Onboard-Only Booking Offer/Placeholder when I cruise. It really makes longer cruises more affordable. Plus, with the
refund option, it is a no-lose situation.
Wow, Mexico in 2023 and
Alaska in 2024. What amazing trips you have planned! You will love Alaska. It is so different from other cruises, and such beauty everywhere you look. I cannot wait to sail Alaska again. There were so many options for
Port Adventures, it will be like a whole different cruise next time my family and I sail!
To sign up for your placeholder, as well as know what is going on around the ship, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. This will be like having a personal cruise director to help you out with every detail of your vacation!
Enjoy traveling the high seas with Captain Mickey and the crew!
