Ahoy there! Just booked my first trip aboard DCL on the Wish next spring. We'll be on Deck 2 right across from the kids' club and nursery. Do you think noise will be a factor? How late are these areas generally open/active? Thanks!

Ahoy there, Elizabeth! Welcome aboard the decks of the Disney Cruise Line specialists here at planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled for you and your crew to be embarking on an amazing itinerary on the Disney Wish next April! I hope you've already downloaded the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and have the countdown started already! It's a small thing, but honestly one of my favorites!

While there's so much still to be revealed about the Disney Wish, one thing is for certain, the Imagineers have outdone themselves with the design of the spaces in Disney's Oceaneer Club for the littlest sailors! I know for a fact that I'll be checking the Navigator app for Open House times for sure! On the current four ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, these spaces are typically open from 9 a.m. to midnight - but we'll have to wait for specifics about the Disney Wish. Still. this should be a good barometer for you! Hours can vary but will be listed on the daily schedule in the Navigator app as soon as you board.

When it comes to noise, since we haven't had the chance to experience the space yet, nobody knows for sure, but I'd expect the Imagineers will have taken noise management into account in the design and construction of their latest and greatest Disney's Oceaneer Club yet!

What I DO know is the ONLY time I've ever had any noise issues due to the location of my room was directly below what was either Cabanas' dishwashing area or the Senses Spa & Salon Fitness Center. Even when we stayed adjacent to Disney's Oceaneer Club on the Disney Dream, we never had an issue! We did sometimes hear the voices of the kids who were members of "team no sleep on vacation" as we passed the kids clubs' entrances, but once we made it to our stateroom, we were in Disney Cruise Line bliss once again.

I hope that helps "quiet" any concerns you may have had, Elizabeth! Thank you so much for your question, and if you think of any others as we count down the days, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

Until then, I'll SEA ya' real soon!

    Andrew
