How do I get ahold of someone to plan a special event with my girl scout troop?

Hi Irene, and welcome to planDisney. I like the way you think! The Disneyland Resort would be the perfect place for a troop to learn, have fun, and bond. Let's talk about how to make this dream come true!

Irene, you'll want to start with Disney Imagination Campus. They offer educational opportunities and specially priced Disney Student Tickets for schools and organized youth groups with a minimum number of participants. Complete the Connect With Us form to get in touch with a Disney Representative and start planning your trip.

If the students are in third grade or higher, you might also consider having them participate in an educational workshop on subjects such as theme park design or immersive storytelling!

Irene, there are many ways to make special memories together inside Disneyland and California Adventure. Here are some ideas that your troop may enjoy:

    • Art: Stop by Animation Academy and learn how to draw a Disney Character with step-by-step guidance from a talented animator. This is one of my favorite activities. I also really like Storytelling at Royal Theatre – it's a fun and engaging live performance hosted by a dynamic thespian duo!
    • Exploration: Take the log raft to Tom Sawyer Island, cross a suspension bridge, walk through caves, and search for treasure! The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is another fun stop, with a rock wall, slides, and a ropes course in a woodsy setting.
    • Nature: Point out the unique flowers and trees found throughout the parks, like the flowerbed at the entrance of Disneyland that resembles a special Disney friend, and the petrified tree in Frontierland. Take notice of how the landscaping changes from land to land!
    • Music: Watch performances by the Disneyland Band, the Pearly Band, and the Dapper Dans!
    • Innovation: Consider the technology and details that make each attraction unique. Rise of the Resistance is a perfect example, with trackless vehicles, sophisticated animatronics, special effects, and more.
    • Leadership: Take turns making decisions on what to do and eat, as well as navigating the group through the park.
    • Photography: Set up a few photo challenges, such as taking a photo with a Disney Princess, finding flowers in all the colors of the rainbow, and capturing a special moment with a friend.
    • Pin Trading: Start with a few Disney pins and visit the pin boards throughout the park to trade with Cast Members
Irene, I'll wish on a star that your plans materialize and the troop has an unforgettable visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you have any questions, please let us know. We at planDisney are always glad to help!

    Wishing you magic,
