what ages need a ticket for the Disney parks?

    Hi there, Tracey!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for bringing us your question about the Walt Disney World Resort. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a magical visit to the theme parks this summer! There will be so much excitement for you to experience at the four parks and all around the resort.

There are currently two age groups for theme park tickets, Tracey. There is a ticket for Guests ages 3 to 9 and another for Guests ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 3 don’t need a ticket to enter the theme parks, but they are still able to experience many attractions, shows and other forms of entertainment! For this reason, we began making Disney Parks memories with our children when they were infants. Now that they’re older, they love hearing stories about those early family vacations and seeing photos of themselves exploring the parks as babies and toddlers. It’s never too soon to start making those pixie-dusted memories with your little ones!

I hope this helps, Tracey, and that your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is a dream come true. Do you have any other planning questions we can assist you with? If so, please feel free to ask away!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
