What ages do you have to buy a hopper pass for? We are military and have a 3 year old and a 7 year old but we can not find the military or regular price for kids tickets... can you please advise on this? Thank You

Hi Alexis! Thank you for stopping by planDisney, and welcome.

My family has been taking advantage of the fantastic Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket special offer for years. It, along with the military discount on select resort hotel rooms, is a great deal, and we’re so grateful that Disney recognizes how important together time is for our military families and makes this possible for so many of us.

The 2021 Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets are for all Guests age 3 and up; they do not break down into child and adult tickets like the regular theme park tickets do. These tickets come with the Park Hopper Option; the Park Hopper Plus option is available at an additional cost. For pricing, eligibility, and other details, please see the Offer Details. Note that these tickets can be purchased at your local base ticket office, or via email through Shades of Green, which is the resort hotel for military members on Walt Disney World Resort property.

All Guests aged 3 and older must have valid theme park admission, so you will need to purchase theme park tickets for both your 3 and 7 year old children. If you find you’re not eligible for the military tickets, or prefer to purchase regularly priced theme park tickets, there is an option to purchase tickets without the Park Hopper Option. I am a huge fan of Park Hopper because it gives us the opportunity for more adventures in one day – we usually visit the first park, take a break for lunch and a swim at our hotel, and then “hop” to the second park for late afternoon and dinner. I see that Donyell has helped explain how Park Hopping currently works so you can determine what’s best for your family’s needs and vacation plans.

Once you have purchased your tickets, be sure to link them to your My Disney Experience account and make your Disney Park Pass Reservations. I see you’re planning to visit in October, which is going to be a great time, with The World’s Most Magical Celebration for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary underway! I would recommend getting your tickets and making your Disney Park Pass Reservations soon so you can have peace of mind that your plans are in place.

I hope this clarifies the way the military theme park tickets work, Alexis. Thank you for your service to our country, and I hope you have a fantastic time with your family later this year. If you have further questions as you plan and dream, please come back and see us!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
