We have 2c ages 8(f) and 4(m). We will arrive after 5pm, what are fun things to do the evening before entering magic kingdom the next day?

    Hello!

There are so many fun things to do in the evenings at Walt Disney World, without even having to enter a park!

One of our favorite places in WDW is Downtown Disney. There are so many great restaurants (both Quick-Service and Table Service) there, and chances are that at that hour, some tummies may be grumbly. LEGO Imagination Center is an interactive store where your prince and princess can play and build.  Not far from there is World of Disney, "the largest Disney character store" on Earth. Should your little princess want a royal makeover, she can do so at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. At Once Upon a Toy, there is a build-your-own lightsaber station and a Potato Head station, too. Disney's Pin Traders is a great place to get the kids interested in the art of pin trading. There's even an AMC movie theater, should you decide to take the family to catch a new flick!

If your family is in the mood for miniature golf, WDW boasts two different courses, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course as well as Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.

You can also get a taste of the magic by booking a character meal at a WDW resort that is outside of the parks. If you choose one that's located near Magic Kingdom, you might even be able to see the fireworks that light up the sky each night above Cinderella Castle, as well as seeing the Electrical Water Pageant, which sails on Seven Seas Lagoon.

If you're staying in a Walt Disney World resort, there are often activities taking place there, too.

Please send me more questions about your upcoming WDW vacation as you think of them; I'd love to help!
