at what age can small children get on rides

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eileen. I hope you're having a magical week.

The great thing about Disney Parks is that they're catered to family; no matter how young or young-at-heart you are, there is something for everyone!

There are certain thrill rides that have minimum requirements, in which case small children will be unable to ride them. There are numerous slow rides that Guests can enjoy with their babies and toddlers. Some of my family's favorite rides when my children were little included "it's a small world", Heimlich's Chew Chew Train, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

I encourage you to take a look at the Disneyland Resort's Attractions page. You can search for appropriate rides for your children by filtering age, thrill type and more. You'll also be able to find more information about each ride.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Eileen. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Sending you Pixie Dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
