Hi, Kristin, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Let’s get your family ready to ride at the Walt Disney World Resort!
One of the things I love about Walt Disney World is the fact that there really is something for everyone. As my son has grown from toddler to tween, the attractions we frequent have changed right along with him. I just know you'll find fun that fits your family, too.
Kristin, the most important thing to look for when making plans for attractions with little Mouseketeers is the height requirement. The only age restrictions I’ve come across are that children must be seven or older to ride alone, and any child under seven must be accompanied by a Guest over the age of 14.
The Disney Parks Blog produced a handy info graphic a few years ago that can help you size up the
height requirements for different attractions in the Magic Kingdom Park. You can also get a complete list of attractions just right for little ones by going to the “
Attractions” page and using the Filter tab to check for different heights. It’s amazing to see all the things young children can do!
Also, when making your plans, be sure to have a look at the
Planning for Preschool Kids and Little Ones page here on the Walt Disney World website. It’s full of ideas for having tons of fun with your littles!
I hope this helps you plan a magical family vacation, Kristin. Please come see us again if you have any more questions. Large or small, we'll answer them all!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
