Is there an age requirement to ride the water sprites (I think that is what they are called!) in the Seven Seas Lagoon? My nephew would love it, but he is not yet three.

    Welcome Back Shannon!

You're an awesome Aunt to plan ahead for your nephew.  I checked with the Marina at the Contemporary regarding the watercraft rentals.  In order to drive a Sea Raycer (also known as water sprites), Guests must be a minimum of 12 years old and 5 feet tall. To ride as a passenger, guests must be able to sit independently in the seat beside the driver.  Your nephew may get a huge kick out of riding along with you.

Sea Raycers are available for rent at the following locations:

    • Disney's Beach Club Resort
    • Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
    • Disney's Contemporary Resort
    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort
    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    • Disney's Polynesian Resort
    • Disney's Wilderness Lodge
    • Disney's Yacht Club Resort
    • Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
    • Disney's Old Key West Resort
    • Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
    • Downtown Disney Marketplace
The current rental fee (always subject to change without notice) is $34.08 for the first 1/2 hour and a fee for each additional 5 minutes.
