What age do you pay for a child in a room, meal plan, or for tickets? My son will be a few months shy of 3 when we go in OCT 2013?

The good news, Stephanie, is that your two-year-old son will not be charged to enter the theme parks or to eat at certain meals.  The only bad news is that at two, he won't be eligible for the dining plan because the dining plan only covers guests ages three and above.  He will, though, be able to dine for free at Disney's buffet and family-style restaurants.  At restaurants where you order from a menu, your son will be permitted to share food from your plate for free.  He will not be charged to stay in the room with you either.  Good news, right?  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
