At what age do I need to purchase a ticket to enter the park?

    Hello Carisma!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy to answer your first question and help you plan a magical vacation.

With so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort, it is not so easy to decide how many days to visit and what type of admission tickets are the best. In case you are planning your first visit, I highly recommend booking a vacation package including a room at a Disney Resort hotel, theme parks tickets, and even a Disney Dining Plan.

My suggestion for first timers is to stay for 6 nights and purchase a 5-day ticket. This way you can enjoy all the benefits available for Disney Resort hotel Guests, visit all four theme parks, and plan an extra day for Magic Kingdom Park. A 6-night stay also allows you to have a break to enjoy your Disney Resort hotel pool, visit Disney Springs, and maybe one of the water parks.

Children younger than age 3 don’t need theme park tickets. Kids ages 3 to 9 need to have their own tickets, but they have a discount when compared to the regular ticket prices for ages 10 and up. Remember that for your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation I recommend visiting one theme park each day of your ticket. Next time you return, you will be ready to select tickets with Park Hopper option if you wish to, and visit multiple theme parks per day.

I hope this helps you while planning, Carisma. Stop by real soon with more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
