    Is there an age limit for participation in the 5K race on Castaway Cay? My 10 year old daughter would be interested in joining me for the race. And, can other family members come off the ship with us? Our other family members would love to cheer us on!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The official age limit is currently ten, so your daughter will be fine!  I love that she is interested in running at such an early age and I can't think of a better place for her to earn a race medal!

    Your family members can also join in the fun by heading out to cheer you guys on. Having loved ones on the sidelines always makes a race more special.

    To register for the race, simply visit the Guest Service desk sometime after boarding your cruise.  They will sign you up and give you all the necessary details.

    Be sure to visit the runDisney website to learn about all of the other fun races you and your family can do together at Walt Disney World and Disneyland!
