    Is there an age limit for kids to run the Castaway Cay 5k? We have an 8 & 10 year old, both have run several 5ks. Also, if we all decide to run can we bring our beach stuff off the boat at race time or will we have to return to the ship after the race?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I reached out to our Disney Cruise Mom, Nancy, to double check your information.  The minimum age for a runner in the Castaway Cay 5K is ten.  They probably won't stop either of your kids from running, but there is no guarantee for a medal for someone under the age limit.  I suggest stopping by the Port Adventures desk or Guest Services when you first board the ship to get their exact suggestion.

    You can take your belongings with you for the beach and leave it at the start or on one of the lounge chairs. Definitely don't leave anything valuable.  There will be Cast Members around, but you don't want to risk losing something important.
