Is there an age limit on boys going into the woman's bathroom in the parks? I hear someone complain about tween (12-14)boys being in the ladies room - made their girls upset

    Hi Rina!

This can be a difficult issue to navigate, especially where children's safety AND children's privacy is concerned.

There is not an official 'age limit' on boys in the ladies' restroom in the parks.  I would say that this is one of those 'judgement calls' on the part of the parent.  You need to go with what you are comfortable with, but you also need to consider the privacy and comfort of others.  I can say that my son (at age 6) is already starting to protest going into the 'girls' restroom with me, so if given the opportunity, he goes with his Dad.  Given his age I just don't feel comfortable sending in him alone just yet, although I know we will be crossing that bridge some time in the future.

I can tell you the oldest boy I've seen in the ladies restrooms at Walt Disney World was about 10.  I've not personally seen any others older than that while on vacation.  Certainly, if a child has any special circumstances that would factor into your decision as well.

    Have a magical vacation!
