What age are kids counted as adults on the dining plan?

    Hi, Robin!

Guests age 10+ are considered adults for the Disney Dining Plan as well as for theme park tickets. Guests age 3-9 are considered "kids" and receive a discounted rate for tickets and dining.

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to budget your vacation since your meals are covered with your dining credits. Remember that tax and gratuity are not included in the Disney Dining Plan so plan accordingly.

With the Disney Dining Plan, you will get 2 snack credits for each night of your stay. Use your credits for soft drinks, ice cream, or even for a bagel for breakfast in the morning. Make sure to use all of your dining credits before your vacation ends!

Have a magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
