Hi, Jason!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. My kids love the Youth Clubs onboard the Disney Cruise Line so I am happy to answer your question!
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab are available for kids between 3 to 10 years old who are completely toilet-trained. During my family's cruise on the
Disney Wish last year, my kids designed their own roller coaster at the Ride Studio, became a recruit for the Marvel Super Hero Academy, and participated in art activities...all in Disney's Oceaneer Club! We usually dropped them off after breakfast, and they spent the morning having a blast with their new friends. Meanwhile, my spouse and I enjoyed exploring the ship and lounging in the adults-only areas. We also ate a fantastic brunch at
Palo Steakhouse. It was incredible! We picked up our kids for lunch and then headed to the pool for the afternoon It was so much fun!
Younger sailors can spend time at
"it's a small world" nursery! Kids between 6 months and 3 years old (or from 1 to 3 years old on Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries) can make crafts, play games, and nap in this sweet nursery. There is an additional fee for using "it's a small world" nursery, and reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the duration of your cruise. Guests can also visit the nursery and make reservations during the Open House on embarkation day. Just check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the Open House hours after boarding the ship. Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab also have Open House hours on embarkation day where you can explore the Youth Clubs with your kids and get them registered.
Tweens can enjoy
Edge, the Youth Club for kids who are 11 to 14 years old, and older teens can meet new friends in
Vibe. I love that there is a Youth Club for kids of almost every age! The youngsters get to experience some independence while also having fun. It's a win-win!
Jason, I hope you are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line soon! Please contact planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
