Hello, Sally and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your vacation planning question.
Sally, as a Mom who started taking my kids on Disney vacations shortly after their 1st birthdays I appreciate this question. There is nothing quite like watching the Disney Magic through the eyes of
a little one.
Now, Sally, let's talk about cruise pricing. All guests are charged for sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line, even
the youngest Mouseketeers. However, you'll notice different pricing depending on who is in the
stateroom with the infant. For example, if it is one parent and one baby, the cost of the baby will be much higher as there is a discount for the third and fourth guests in a stateroom regardless of age. So, if an infant is traveling with two adults in the stateroom, the charge for a baby is much less. As a third or fourth guest, you will see pricing increase at age 3 and then again at age 13. My best recommendation to get an estimate for pricing would be to visit the
Disney Cruise Line website and select a sailing to view pricing. You can alter the traveling party to vary the ages of the guests and the make-up of the stateroom. Even if you aren't ready to book, you'll have a general idea of cost.
Sally, I hope this helps as you're thinking about sailing with Captain Mickey! If you decide to book a trip with an infant or toddler, make sure to check out all of the offerings that are family friendly and those designed just for little ones like
“it’s a small world” nursery!Wishing you a Magical trip,
Lauren
