    What age should a girl be for her first visit to Disney World?

    Hi Dan!

    Well now, that's a great question!

    If you are thinking of taking your own daughter, I'd say they are almost never too young!  Sure, they may not remember it, but YOU will, and you will have some amazing memories, and perhaps a wonderful scrap book of this happy time, to share with her as she grows older!

    The main concern I would have about an infant is whether or not they are healthy and strong enough to thrive throughout a vacation like this.  Personally, I would wait until they are past that initial 12 weeks before I would even think about it, giving their little immune systems time to develop, which will make them a bit more resistant to germs they may encounter.  This goes for infants anywhere, not just Walt Disney World!  And, by then, they are usually in a pretty good routine for feeding and sleeping.

    We have found that when our babies are around 7 months old, they have not been difficult to manage at Walt Disney World.  There are Baby Care Centers in every park, and as long as we try to stick to regular napping and feeding routines, we all do quite well!

    We have also found that our children really begin developing memories that last of their experiences in the Parks after age 3.  So, if you want to wait until they begin having distinct memories, then that might be the magic age.  This is purely based on our own personal experience.

    I truly believe that Walt Disney World is a magical place for boys and girls of every age!  I hope you all enjoy the time you spend there!
