A Disney cruise with a baby and/or toddler is a super easy family vacation! I couldn’t believe how relaxing traveling on a Disney cruise was when my kids were this age, because Disney Cruise Line makes it so easy (and actually magical!). I can also absolutely understand wondering which age to enter for a birthday cruise child when making their reservation, because I’ve been where you are before! I’d be happy to explain more about this process to help you when reserving your cruise.
When you’re making your Disney cruise reservation, you should enter the age that your child will be on embarkation day. Yes, the age that is requested during your reservation refers to the age that they are during embarkation, regardless of whether they will be celebrating a magical birthday on board.
Speaking of birthdays, I would also be happy to give you a recommendation for
celebrating a birthday on board your cruise! You can request a celebratory dessert from your Dining Team during dinner, which is always a great way to celebrate! It’s always such a magical and special birthday on board a Disney cruise!
You can also
request lots of products for young cruisers, such as a
Pack n Play, high chair, mashed baby food, bottle warmer, and Diaper Genie, which are all included with your cruise price! There is also a nursery on board, if and when you need some adult time, or you want to play together as a family during Open House hours. You can find the

"it's a small world" nursery! and all the
Youth Clubs in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. These services that Disney Cruise Line provides are just some of the ways that it’s so fun and magical to cruise with younger kiddos!
