My DS (age 5) is a Disney sceptic. We sold him the idea based on going on the star wars ride we we have now found out to be closed! Help. I've heard that there's a Jedi Training attraction will this replace the loss of the ride? Can we book it?

    Hello there Tracey!

I understand your concern! My son is a HUGE Star Wars fan and he is so looking forward to riding the New version of Star Tours! But, like you said, it will not be opening until May 20, 2011... So, the next best thing is definitely Jedi Training Academy!

To have the best chance of your son to be chosen to become a Padawan in one of the shows, you need to get to Hollywood Studios when (before) it opens. When the park officially opens, go straight to the Jedi Training Academy stage and ask one of the Cast members about signing up for one of the shows during the day. This is super important, your son must be be with you to be able to sign up to take part in the Jedi Training Academy. Good luck and may the Force be with You! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel! If you have more questions, we are always here to help!
