What age does the cost of the ticket start? at 3 or 4? Is there proof that I must provide to show the age of the child?

Hey there, Aja, and welcome to planDisney! It’s never too early to start planning your next Walt Disney World Vacation! And with Walt Disney World intentionally creating spaces for your children, it’s never too early to take the kiddos on a Walt Disney World Resort extravaganza! Admittedly, all of my Mouseketeers had gone on multiple Disney vacations before they reached the toddler stage, so I may be slightly biased.

As a dad with three littles who are toddler age, I know all too well that 3 is the age when my pockets start to feel those vacations a little more. But doesn’t the smile on their face make it all worth it? At least that’s what I tell myself! Walt Disney World uses an honor system to manage this policy, so as soon as your child turns 3 years old they will require a park ticket. In my experience, my family has never had any issues with our Disney Vacations, even with tall toddlers. On his first visit to Disney, my then two-year-old toddler was already clearing 42 inches. Some very nice Guests also let him pilot the ship on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! Needless to say, they crashed! But he had a blast! That’s the joy of a Disney Vacation!

I hope this helps, Aja! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
