Aloha Heather, welcome to planDisney!
You are just five months away from your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm glad to hear you're getting a head start on dining options. This
50th Anniversary Sips and Bites Guide highlights some of the EARidescent offerings available throughout the resort.
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a strong choice for a family meal, Heather. This family-style dining experience is available for breakfast and dinner. The freshly made pineapple-coconut breakfast bread is worth melting in your mouth for and the 'Ohana noodles live up to their must-have reputation. I'm happy to share that children under the age of three eat free at all buffet and family-style dining experiences throughout Walt Disney World, which includes 'Ohana. The child's price applies to children ages three through nine. This categorization also applies to
ticket pricing. At table service restaurants where you order entrees from a menu, children under three are welcome to plate share. A charge does apply if they choose to order their own meal off of the children's menu.
For Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, advance dining reservations can be made
online 60 days in advance for the duration of their vacation, up to 10 days. All other Guests may make advance dining reservations one day at a time, as each day reaches the 60-day mark. 'Ohana reservations are quite popular so I recommend logging into your
My Disney Experience account by 5:45 a.m. on reservation day, ready to make your reservation at 6:00 a.m. Be sure to include everyone in your party, even children under three, in your reservation.
If your initial efforts are unsuccessful, have no fear. Dining availability changes in real time as Guests make adjustments to their itineraries. Day of, you can even use your
My Disney Experience mobile app to add your name to 'Ohana's walk-up list. Use the magnifying glass at the bottom of the app's home screen and enter 'Ohana, then click "Join Walk-Up List." Availability is not guaranteed, but the app will say whether or not the walk-up list is at capacity.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Heather. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions. We're hEAR to help!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
