The age of a child's ticket and meal plan needs to be raised. I feel the childs ticket and meal plan age limit should be 15. They can't drive unti lthey are 16 but WDW says they should be charged adult prices starting at age 10. Can this age be changed?

    Hi Lisa!
I'm sure many people feel as you do.  However, there is more to the ticket pricing and meal plan charges than simply age or readiness for responsibility.  Disney pricing is actually based on the age at which the average child can enjoy most of the attractions in a given theme park.  Based on many, many years of analysis, Disney feels that guests over the age of 10 can participate in any attraction in its theme parks, and as a result, they are charged full adult price. The value that can be enjoyed by most children over the age of 10 reinforces this pricing philosophy, and as a result, even though prices and ages are subject to change at any time, I do not anticipate this happening.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
