Hi there, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney!
Because little ones are considered Guests of Mickey Mouse until they are of a certain age, my own kiddos have been visiting the Disney Parks since they were a few months old. It most definitely is a cool perk to not have to worry about theme park tickets or even reservations for the tiniest of Mouseketeers.
All Guests aged 3 and older need a valid theme park ticket for admission into each of the four theme parks and for other destinations like the water parks and miniature golf courses. If your kiddo is aged 2 or younger, they receive free admission. How cool is that?
Another perk for bringing infants to Walt Disney World Resort is that they eat at no additional cost at All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurants across property. These restaurants include fun character dining restaurants like
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios and
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park. Your little one will love meeting their favorite characters while munching from their small plates.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you make any advance dining reservation, it's best to include the little one in the Guest count because they will still take up a physical space. This helps the restaurant to prepare for your visit. The same goes for booking Enchanting Extras like sailing away on a
Fireworks Cruise.
You're going to have the BEST time with your little one, Sandra!
Please revisit us here if you have additional Disney vacation planning questions. Any one of us would be more than happy to lend a Mickey hand.
Magic always,
