    What age children (3 and 6) should see Fantasmic?

    Hi Norman!

    I love love LOVE Fantasmic! It is one of the best shows ever--fireworks, water displays, characters, music and video! It is amazing.

    BUT. It is a little scary. The whole plot of the show is that Mickey is fighting the villains in a nightmare! So, there is fire, lots of video of the villains and even a larger-than-life Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. My kids are 2 & 5 and I'm not going to bring them to Fantasmic. My daughter (the 5yo) is very fearful of things anyway, so I shield her from a lot of attractions.

    So, I'd say if your kids are not fearful, like the villains, aren't afraid of fireworks, then YES! Go for it! There will be plenty of children there! But if they are like my daughter, you might want to wait a year or two. It would be a bummer to get there an hour early (which I highly recommend for a good seat) and then have to leave with a screaming child.
