Hi Emma. Welcome to planDisney, where we strive to help each and every Guest with their Disney vacation questions!
Speaking of Disney vacation questions, you are asking one of my favorite types of questions to answer: questions about Disney dining! I have a trip coming up in August and I cannot wait to make all of my
advanced dining reservations. No matter what your tastes are, there is truly something for everyone at the
Walt Disney World Resort! At the top of my list? Breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera on the top of
Disney's Riviera Resort. And a few new options are coming soon to the resort as well.
The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant by Gwendolyn Rogers is coming to
Disney's BoardWalk,
Summer House on the Lake is coming to
Disney Springs, and
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya will open before the end of 2023 in
EPCOT. So many choices!
In general, Guests aged 3-9 are usually charged children's prices at many table-service restaurants at the resort. Guests aged 10 and older are usually charged adult prices and Guests under 3 years old are usually not charged if they are eating off of your plate. Of course, you'll want to check the policies of each restaurant, but this is usually the case.
Emma, some of my favorite places to dine with young children are
The Crystal Palace in
Magic Kingdom Park,
Tusker House Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
Chef Mickey's at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. But no matter where you choose, you are going to absolutely love your experiences while dining at the resort!
Be sure to
reach out if you have any questions in the future. I can even help with non-dining-related questions!
If it's Mickey-shaped, I want to eat it,
Matt
