At what age does character dining count as an adult meal? I am heading to Disney soon with my 9 year old and trying to plan a budget... Unsure if he will be counted as a child's meal or an adult?!?!

    Hello Courtney!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week.

It depends on the Disneyland Resort Dining location and what is ordered whether your child’s meal will be counted as an adult or child. My 12 year old sometimes wants to order off the adult menu and sometimes off of the kid’s menu and we’ve always been charged according to what he ordered vs his age.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
