Greetings, Rebekah, and welcome to planDisney!
AquaMouse is a truly unique experience – imagine gliding through winding tubes high above the upper decks with Mickey and Minnie adventures sprinkled in! Traveling with two little ones, I understand why you're curious about any restrictions.
To ride AquaMouse, Guests must be 42 inches or taller. Age is also a factor, in that Guests younger than 7 years must be accompanied by someone aged 14 or older. The other thing to keep in mind is that swim diapers are not allowed on the attraction (or in the pools or whirlpool spas). At this time, there are no weight restrictions.
If your three-year-old isn't tall enough to ride, then perhaps you can plan for the adults to take turns as a single rider. Or, this can be something that the adults do when the kids are at the youth clubs.
That said, your family will still be able to enjoy water activities on board. Is your older child at least 38 inches tall? If so, they can go on the Slide-a-saurus Rex water slide, which was designed with kids in mind. There are also shallow pools that kids who are potty-trained can enjoy. You'll definitely want to check out the Toy Story Splash Zone on Deck 12 – it's for kids up to four years old, and swim diapers are allowed here. You'll find little slides, geysers, a very shallow wading pool, and more. It's a great spot for young kids!
Let's circle back to the youth clubs.
"it's a small world" nursery! is for kids ages 6 months to 3 years old. There's a play area, a separate room for naps, and more! It's important to note that space here is extremely limited. It's recommended to book reservations as soon as possible, and there is an additional cost.
There's also the
Oceaneer Club for kids ages 3 to 10 who are potty-trained. There are a few things about the Oceaneer Club that I really like. First, children ages 3 and 4 are grouped together and participate in guided activities created just for them. This made my daughter (who was three at the time) feel more comfortable. I also like that Open House hours are available. During those times, you can explore the Oceaneer Club as a family, including your youngest. My kids enjoyed this area the most when they could show us around – you'll discover themed play spaces, crafts, toys, and more.
Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App if you haven't already – once you board the ship and connect to the onboard Wi-Fi, you'll use it to check schedules and activities specific to your cruise. Use it to find family-friendly activities. My kids still talk about silent disco and family karaoke.
Rebekah, I hope you and your family have a fantastic time aboard the
Disney Treasure. If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you many happy moments,
Kriss
