Hi Again,Thanks for the info. I should have given you a $ amount of what we were thinking of taking to WDW. For a family of 4 we were thinking $800-$1000 for any extra food & gifts. Spending less would be better though....Hopefully. Is that possible?

    Hi, Jenn!

Thanks so much for checking back in with me!

Because your essentials are already covered - Disney Dining Plan (including snacks), accommodations at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Magic Your Way tickets with Hopper option - you should have absolutely no trouble managing your week at Walt Disney World with that budget.

If souvenirs are the issue, just limit your children to a per Park budget (this applies more, of course, to the 11-year old than the three-year-old. You might consider determining the 11-year-old's spending money ahead of time, and purchasing four Disney gift cards to total that amount. Then he'll have a specific card for each Park, and will not be able to touch the other money.  The little one might be content with a nice plush purchased along the way.

But be mindful that some of the memorabilia geared towards adults might lean toward the pricey side. Set a budget for each grownup, too.

Really, the bulk of your spending money would be allocated to souvenirs, extra snacks, and beverages (bottled water, sodas, etc.) along the way (the refillable Resort mug you'll receive as part of the Dining Plan will alleviate that need while you are at the Contemporary). It seems like averaging even $100 per day would be on the higher side; I see no reason why, with some pre-planning and discipline, you'll be able to come away with money remaining in your pocket.

If I can be of any further help, please drop me a line!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
