Hello again, and thanks for answering my previous question! As senior citizens on our first cruise, are there activities geared to our age group? Any “must dos”? We would love to hear your suggestions! Thanks!

    Ahoy, Robert!
Welcome back! Thanks for using us as a planning resource for your upcoming Disney Cruise vacation - we're happy to help!

The great thing about cruising with Disney is that there's so much available for guests of ALL ages. As a mom, I've enjoyed all the things I've been able to experience with my kids through the years. Now that they're older, I've also had the best time exploring activities geared just for adults! Guests can choose to be as active or as relaxed as they want on a Disney Cruise, and I prefer a mix of both.

When it comes to adult cruisers, Disney Cruise Line doesn't offer specific activities geared toward certain age groups. All Adult-Exclusive activities are available to all guests over the age of 18. That being said, some offerings will be geared more for those with higher activity levels than others. When planning Port Adventures, you can actually filter by Experience Type (Active, Nature, Sightseeing, Private Adventures, Signature Collection, Splashtacular, Culinary - The Chew Approved, and Cultural), Activity Level (Athletic, Moderate, Mild), Accessibility, and Price Level.

One of my favorite Adult-Exclusives on a Disney Cruise is having access to Serenity Bay, a private adult beach, on Disney's island, Castaway Cay. I enjoyed a girls trip a few years ago, and finally had a chance to visit this gorgeous beach, sans kids. WOW. What a relaxing day we had, lounging in our beach chairs, as Cast Members came by to take our drink orders throughout the day - pure relaxation!

Another favorite is Adult-Exclusive dining on the Disney ships. The Adult-Only dining venues, Palo (on all four Disney ships), and Remy (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy), are not to be missed! You can make reservations at these restaurants when you book your Onboard Activities prior to your sail date.

You're certain to find plenty of things to do on your cruise to make it the most magical vacation ever. Bon Voyage! - Diane W.
