Hello Again, How does it work if we schedule character dining before the park opens? Do we use the same line and then what happens when we are done dining? Thank you so much! I love your panel!

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I adore having early morning character meal reservations before the theme park opens.  It is my favorite way to start my morning on vacation and I simply love strolling to the restaurant in a nearly empty park.  Usually my family and I pause to take a quick photo along the way.

There are special entrances at each of the theme parks for early morning character meals.  Look for signs directing you to the correct "character breakfast" entrance at the theme park.  The Cast Members at the special breakfast entrance will verify your reservation and admit you to the park prior to the official park opening.  You won't be permitted to wander around, but you can certainly enjoy a lovely stroll to your destination.  Since it usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour for my family to finish a meal, we usually end our meal about the time of the official "rope drop".  If you happen to finish your meal and exit the restaurant before Guests are allowed into all areas, you will be allowed to wait at a certain point with the other Guests until the remainder of the park is opened.  You do not have to exit and re-enter the park.

Thank you for the wonderful compliment about the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jennifer!  We simply love helping other Guests plan their MAGICAL Disney vacations!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
