    Hello again! I was just wondering how far in advance can I place my order with instacart? I know garden grocer lets you order far ahead, is instacart the same? Thanks in advance!!

    Hey, Stephanie! I have used several grocery delivery services while at Walt Disney World Resort, including Instacart and Garden Grocer. I find them to be invaluable services offered for guests who may not have a car while on vacation. We like to keep breakfast items, snacks for pool days, and plenty of bottled water in our room. When our list is more expansive than what I can pick up in the resort gift shop, then these services are happy to help!

    When you place your order with Instacart, you will be able to select from available delivery time slots. Of course, the further out in the schedule you will go, the more availability you are likely to find. I did my order last November only two days in advance and was able to secure a practically perfect time slot on the day I wanted. While it is subject to change, I just looked and see that Instacart offers availability up to six days in advance.

    Be sure to keep your phone available the day of delivery, as the shopper filling your order will text you to see if you have any additions or let you know if something is not available. You can then request an alternate to be substituted. When they arrive at your resort, you will receive a text to meet in the lobby. If you have ordered alcoholic beverages, be sure to bring your license with you for verification. Should you have lots of bags to bring to the room, Bell Services will be happy to assist you. I can also confirm that delivery can be accepted by Bell Services if necessary. So, if you are on Disney's Magical Express and have not yet reached your resort, then Bell Services can accept your order and store your cold items in their refrigerated areas. Yep, I am speaking from experience on that one!
