Hello again, wondering what the best transportation options are...we are wanting to go from animal kingdom to the animal lodge(to look at Xmas decorations) and then over to wilderness lodge for hoop de doo dinner reservations the same evening. Any ideas?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. It sounds as though you have a festive and action-packed evening planned for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge have some of my favourite Christmas decorations out of all of the Resort hotels, so you’re in for a real treat.

If you plan to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation, you can travel to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge by bus from any Theme Park, including Disney’s Animal Kingdom. When you’re done visiting that Resort, hop another bus to head to Magic Kingdom Park and then take a boat to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Finally, you'll then be able to hop onto another boat to head over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Pioneer Hall, where the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue takes place (it's NOT a part of Disney's Wilderness Lodge), is located there. All in all, I would set aside at least an hour of travel time to get to each Resort.

If you don’t have any children that require car seats, I would strongly suggest spending the extra money to take a cab to/from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. You’ll shave up to 40 minutes off your travel time to each of these resorts. Because Pioneer Hall is located at the back of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, I would recommend using boat transportation from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to get there.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
