Hi again thanks for the great advice and I have one more ?. Do they show wishes in December or is it a holiday fireworks show like at the MVMCP? You guys are great at this stuff. It's our first time coming in December. Thanks Faith

Your first visit during the holiday season will almost feel like your first time at Walt Disney World. You’ll be awestruck by the holiday decorations, music and special shows.

“Wishes” was shown every evening this past December. (There was a second fireworks display on the evenings of December 29-31 of “Fantasy in the Sky” which was shown about 10 minutes before midnight.)

On evenings where Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) will begin at 7 p.m. in the Magic Kingdom, the Wishes fireworks are usually shown at 6 p.m.

“Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season” fireworks were shown this past December at 9:30 p.m. during the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas parties. I get all choked up during this show as soon as  Tinkerbell takes flight. I’m never quite prepared for Jiminy Cricket, the host of the show, to say “Can you hear it, can you feel it”.

There is nothing like seeing the fireworks reflected in my son’s eyes as he stares with utter delight at the “pixie dust” in the sky. When he was younger, he would yell “pixie dust” every time he saw the fireworks. He says now “I still think it’s pixie dust” and I tell him “I do, too”.

I hope you enjoy this magical season in WDW as you “keep a holiday wish in your heart”!
