Hi again, Sorry they don't give u a lot of room to ask a question. I can't find anything for the 4th of July? Does anything special go on that evening? Also I will have my 2 sons 11&3 years old. Any info u can provide on a first trip to WDW is appreci

    Hello, Jennifer!

I'm so glad that you sent this additional question!

We've had great luck finding extra magic in Walt Disney World for the Fourth of July by asking Cast Members for suggestions of where best to view fireworks, what time to arrive at a park, what activities are not-to-miss at our resort, etc.  At check-in, you'll receive details of all of the fun activities that take place in and around your resort, too.  There you'll see what 4th of July activities are scheduled.  We've met Patriotic Goofy, shared water ice and cotton candy, participated in themed trivia contests and received red, white and blue beads while celebrating poolside, amid patriotic streamers and banners, too.

As mentioned in my other answer, do not miss the Fourth of July Firework display at Magic Kingdom Park.  This is traditionally a 360-degree display, so you'll see bright bursts above you in every direction. The booms are so impressive that they set off most of the car alarms in nearby Bay Lake Tower's parking lot! The sky really does light up so that all of Main Street U.S.A. looks as if it's daylight, and the concussion from the final explosion is so strong that you can feel it.

Also, be sure to pick up a "My First Visit" pin for each of you, either at your resort or at Guest Relations inside a park. When you check into your resort or restaurants, mention that it's a first visit. It's good for Cast Members to know that this is your first visit, and you may receive a little extra magic. Cast Members and strangers will go out of their way to help you find whatever it is you need throughout your stay. It really is something you won't see many other places...unless it's another one of Mickey's other kingdoms!

Please keep your questions coming! I'd love to be sure that you are not only excited for your first trip to WDW, but also comfortable with your choices. Looking forward to hearing from you again!
