Hi again! Sailing the Wonder 4/22/15! Looking into getting a photo package, how many photo ops are there likely to be? We are camera hams and having all the characters there will only fuel our flame for fame. Wondering if a prepaid package is a good plan?

    Ahoy, Jessica!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 2015 is here and it won't be long 'til you leave for your magical voyage. It's so exciting to plan for the nice warm weather that you'll be enjoying with Captain Mickey and his crew. The beautiful ports that you'll be visiting, the gorgeous ship decor, magical moments at every corner -- you will definitely want to capture all that! There are photo opportunities with and without characters throughout the day and evening.

My family and I are big camera hams too -- so we take solo shots, group shots, jump shots, silly shots -- we usually end up with quite a few nice pictures to choose from. I highly suggest that you check out the prepaid photo packages. This way, you can get as many pictures to document your vacation. Every evening, the professional photography staff will be setting up their Disney Cruise Line signature backgrounds in the lobby atrium. The photos are high quality - and make for great souvenirs of your voyage. The character meet and greets also happen every day. You'll need to check the Personal Navigator for the schedule. The photographers usually make their rounds during dinner time too... so that's just a lot of photo opportunities right there.

Check out My Cruise Photos to get an idea of pre-paid costs for photo packages. There is a 15% savings if you purchase a photo package before your sail date. I always opt for the digital copies, since they are much easier to edit and plug into a photo book that I usually end up putting together at a later time. This way, every time there's a photographer - just smile away and get that photo!

    Hope this helps, Jessica!

Let us know if you need any additional details as you prepare for your voyage. We're always happy to help.
