Me again. Do the rides still allow a "switch off" so the parent that is waiting with the infant can then ride the ride when the other adult's turn is done?

    Hi Michele!

Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are getting ready for an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little one and you are going to have so much fun enjoying the magic of the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs together.

I've traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with my little ones when they were both tiny and Rider Switch was the perfect way to ensure everyone in the family could enjoy the attractions on our "must-do" list, even though we were traveling with a little Mouseketeer. With Rider Switch, your entire group, including your little one, will head to the attraction entrance and let the Cast Member know you would like to use Rider Switch. They will allow the first group of riders to enter the attraction queue and give the second group of riders a Rider Switch entitlement on their My Disney Experience account.  This entitlement works just like a FastPass+ reservation, so once the first group of riders finishes the attraction, the second group of riders can enjoy the attraction using its FastPass+ queue!

One of the things that I like the most about Rider Switch is that your little one doesn't have to wait in queues for attractions that he or she won't be enjoying. Once the second group of riders have their Rider Switch entitlement, they are free to explore other areas of the theme park with your little one while the first group rides. When I'm using Rider Switch with my little guy, I like to use that time to enjoy other attractions or Character Experiences that my little one will enjoy, have a snack or visit the Baby Care Center to cool off and take care of my little one's needs.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app because it's the easiest way to manage all of your entitlements, including your FastPass+ reservations and your Rider Switch entitlements, during your trip! Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
