Hi Denise,
Welcome back to planDisney, it's always a pleasure to see you back with another question. Whilst the sun might not have been shining over the island of Oahu on your most recent visit to Aulani, I am sure the Disney magic of that beach resort was shining bright! But now on to planning your next Disney vacation, at
Walt Disney World. My husband knows all too well how I need another Disney vacation booked before I can finish the current one. Thank you to
Disney Vacation Club for making that possible for our family!
I have yet to stay at
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, but it has been on my bucket list ever since those new DVC cabins launched, and at such a great point value when compared to one-bedroom units across the DVC resorts.
Guided fishing excursions are available at Fort Wilderness, taking you on either a 2-hour or 4-hour trip around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. All fishing excursions include everything you will need, including rods and reels, tackle, bait, and a range of Coca Cola soft drinks. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink, including alcohol, for Guests over the age of 21. It is important to note that all fishing across Walt Disney World is catch and release. Reservations can be made 60 days out by calling (407)-939-3474.
My
planDisney pal Christina just ventured on her family’s first camping trip at Fort Wilderness, and I know she had an absolute blast! Although in the UK we would definitely not call this camping, it is most definitely glamping! As Florida locals spending the week at Fort Wilderness, they made the most of all the facilities at the resort, and I know if she were to speak to you, she would definitely recommend hiring a golf cart for your trip!
I hope this helps answer your question today, Denise! If you have any further vacation planning questions, please
reach out to us at planDisney at any time.
Happy fishing!
Matt
