Hi again, DonnaMarie!
Welcome back to planDisney.
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of my "must-dos". As you have an early reservation, let's talk through the different options to get you there on time!
For the 8.00am tour, you'll need to check-in at 7.45am at Town Square Theater, which is just the other side of the entrance to Magic Kingdom, over to the right.
Disney Buses will start operating from Disney Resort hotels around 45 minutes prior to park opening, but please check with your Front Desk, as they may arrive earlier than that. The actual bus ride should take around 20 minutes (give or take), so if you can board a bus by around 7.15am, this would be your best option. Disney buses will take you to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.
If your tour's check-in time of 7.45am is too early for the Disney Buses, I would recommend using a Lyft ride. You just need to download the Lyft app to your phone which gives you a selection of available cars (with prices and varying pickup times). You make payment on the app before your ride, so it's really simple to use. However, all private cars and taxis cannot take you closer to the Magic Kingdom than the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). From there you will have to take a monorail or ferryboat across to the park entrance (adding more time to your journey). I would aim to be ready to board the ferryboat at 7.30am, and hopefully the first sailing will take you across Seven Seas Lagoon in plenty of time. There may be a separate entrance signposted for 'Guests with early reservations', to avoid having to wait in a long queue to enter the park.
You can also use the
Disney Minnie Van Service via the Lyft app if you fancy traveling in style! It's also worth noting that this is the
only car service that is permitted to drop you at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park. This is probably the most time-efficient way to travel to your tour, but there is an additional charge involved (which is payable in advance on the app).
Enjoy your tour!, and if you have any further questions, please come back and visit us again. Always happy to help!
