Hello again! We have requested a wheel chair accesible room in Tokelau at The Polynesian. I read that it only has 1 sink. Tokelau is currently being renovated and i am trying to find out if they will be putting double sinks in the accesible room.

    Hello Patty.

It's so nice to hear from you again.
A stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort in July sounds heavenly to me! Congratulations on your excellent resort choice!

I was able to find out for you that renovations on the Tokelau longhouse are currently scheduled to have been completed by May 31st, 2013, so you'll be surrounded by beautiful new furnishings during your stay. This renovation is more of a 'soft-furnishings' upgrade, meaning that the interiors of the rooms are being upgraded and replaced.  The renovation doesn't involve any hardware items in the room such as bathroom fixtures so current bathroom layouts in accessible rooms will remain the same.

New items you can expect to see include furniture such as beds, chairs, bureau, tv and bedding.

I hope this information is helpful to you Patty.
Please feel free to write me back any time if I may assist your further.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
