Hi again. I read somewhere that when dining at Obama's you can ask for a different kids meal. I was wondering what the choices are and if its true. We have been there5 times and our son never eats anything but the salad. It kills me that i pay so much????

    Hello, Jessica!

We just enjoyed a fabulous meal at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort, so I can see why you return time and time again!

On the other hand, I completely understand your frustration with spending money for food your son won't eat; we frequently had similar situations when my daughter was little, but were pleased to find options available that would please her picky palate, even if these options were not on the menu. Just ask your server if you can't find suitable options for your little guy, as I'm sure that each restaurant can accommodate your needs.

While the menu for 'Ohana is not listed at this time on Disney World's website, it is listed on the fantastic unofficial site, allears.net. There, it notes that "alternative children's selections available upon request." So, go ahead and ask your server what your options are at that time, typically, chicken fingers and fries, pizza and, occasionally pasta with butter. I'm sure you'll find something your son will enjoy while the rest of the family enjoys the more unique offerings of this great restaurant. :-)
