Hi again! Quick question about Rise of the Resistance. Through my Disney experience app I understand we have to do a virtual queue sometimes, so if I manage my children's plans can I sign them up for the virtual queue as well at the same time?

    Hi, Naomi!

Thanks so much for sending your question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's a great one!

Your My Disney Experience mobile app is your key to experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and believe me, it is well worth the extra step!

First, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a very popular attraction, so Guests have been arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios over an hour before Park Open. When I visited, we were allowed to enter the park about 30 minutes prior to the official Park Open, and could stand on Hollywood Boulevard at that time.

Once everyone in your party is inside the park, open your My Disney Experience mobile app, and click on ""Find Out More" on the page that reads "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance--Access by Boarding Group". Once the park opens, you can click on "Join Boarding Group" if there are any remaining Groups to join for the day. Select everyone in your party--much like if you were making FastPass+ plans for everyone--and submit.

After that, feel free to tour Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, an All-New Land or any other area you'd like. Once your Boarding Group is invited to enter the attraction, you'll have up to two hours to do so. (Boarding Groups are posted on the same area of the app that you used to join, so it's easy to keep track of the progress throughout the day.)

Happy planning, Naomi! Be sure to send us your questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
