Hi again!! I have a question about making the theme park reservation. I am able to make my reservation in may for our Sept. trip, and I know now I won’t receive the tickets till 4 days prior. So I’m just wondering how I make the reservation without them

Hi there, Amanda! Welcome back to planDisney! I see my fellow panelists Carrie and Julie have been guiding your way to the Happiest Place on Earth, and I'm honored to be the next in helping you plan a magical visit!

The good news is that with your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you should receive a confirmation number that you can link to your My Disneyland account. While your Travel ePackage will not load into your account until four days ahead of arrival, this number will allow you to make your theme park reservations ahead of time. I see that you already have your 120-day mark on your calendar to make the reservations, which is great! The best practice is to make the reservations at the 120-day mark and make changes if you need to down the line. Reservations are limited and subject to availability but can be canceled and rescheduled.

To link your Travel ePackage, log in to your account on the Disneyland website and navigate to the "My Disneyland" tab on the top navigation bar. Choose "My Hotel Reservations" and here you should be able to manually type in your package confirmation number, last name, and arrival date. This should link the package to your account and allow you to make theme park reservations by tapping into "Ticket and Reservation Details" again from the "My Disneyland" drop-down menu. From here, scroll until you see the button "Make Park Reservations" and follow the instructions from there. You can always keep your eye on the theme park reservation calendar if you need to make any changes. If for some reason you are having any difficulty with these steps, reach out to our Guest Services team for Website Support at (714) 520-6222 or help with Vacation Packages at (714) 520-5060. They will be happy to help you!

If you are looking for some extra-cosmic power in those park days, you will definitely want to spend some time exploring the new, complimentary Disney Genie Service. The Genie is here to serve you by helping you plan your perfect park day based on your own interests and must-dos! Add Genie+ to your tickets and you will get access to Lightning Lanes on select attractions. I just spent a weekend in the parks with my fellow panelists and we had so much fun using Genie+. Even for planners like us, we loved seeing Genie's suggestions and also skipping those stand-by queues and leaping through the Lightning Lanes! For some of the more popular attractions, like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and Radiator Springs Racers, you can even purchase access to those Lightning Lanes a la carte whether or not you have upgraded to Genie+. There are so many ways to personalize the magic at the Disneyland Resort!

Amanda, come back to see us again if any more questions pop up during your planning! We are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
